Adam Rose (BA 1970), a 1970 graduate of the Department of Economics, is a research professor at the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. He is also a senior research fellow and director emeritus of USC's Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Threats and Emergencies (CREATE). Born in the German Bergen-Belsen Displaced Persons Camp following World War II, Rose is himself a refugee. This scholarship is available to students pursuing an economics degree who have settled in the United States as refugees or the children of refugees.
