The University of Malta seeks to attract top-quality students from countries outside the European Union/EEA and is offering tuition fee waivers of 40 to 100 percent awarded to the most deserving students.
Eligibility Criteria for Master by Research and PhD Positions
Applicants must:
- Be non-EU/EEA nationals.
- Have been unconditionally accepted to read for a Master by Research or a Ph.D. at the University of Malta (UM).
- Apply for either a full-time or part-time programme.
- Not have already started their programme of study at UM.
- Not be applying for a Professional Doctorate.
- Be prepared to attend an online interview conducted by the UM Postgraduate Scholarships Board.
- Not be in receipt of a full scholarship (i.e. covering both tuition and living costs) from any other sponsor.
- Disclose if they receive a partial scholarship or maintenance grant covering living costs from another organization.
