Leifur Eiríksson Foundation Fellowships 2025

Leifur Eiríksson Foundation Fellowships are offered by the Leifur Eiríksson Foundation for students from Iceland or the US planning to commence their postgraduate studies in another country. The value of the scholarship is up to $25,000 in project costs, including travel to and from the research or study site, which will be paid on the scholar’s behalf.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be US or Iceland nationals.
• US applicants must hold an offer of admission (graduate research or study) to an accredited university in Iceland.
• Iceland applicants must hold an offer of admission (graduate research or study) to an accredited university in the US.
• Applicants must be proficient in English.
• Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must compile a meticulously planned research or scholarly project that necessitates an exchange to the host country.
