Eligibility
- Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Emily DeVore and Mabel Crumby Scholarship:
Enrollment Status:
- Students must be enrolled in the ChAD (Child Development) or Multi-Subject Credential program.
- For undergraduate or credential students, the minimum enrollment requirement is 6 units, while for graduate students, it is 3 units.
Minimum GPA:
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required.
Service to Diverse Populations:
- Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Field Placement:
- Have requested a field placement in a Santa Clara County school with a high percentage of students eligible for free/reduced-price meals and/or identified as English Language Learners.
Community Service:
- Have demonstrated extensive community service in a Santa Clara County school or other community agency that serves a population with a high percentage of students who are eligible for free/reduced-price meals and/or are English Language Learners.
